research to practice program
DoCS Research to Practice Program encourages the active use of research within the Department.
It includes a range of initiatives which aim to:
- raise awareness about the importance of research amongst staff and stakeholders
- promote more effective and productive interaction between researchers, policy makers, educators and practitioners
- provide information and advice based on the latest research evidence and best practice, for early intervention and prevention, out-of-home care, child protection and parenting.
See the Research to Practice strategy paper.
