    Over the last 20 years it has become apparent that not only is significant harm caused by the sexual abuse of children, but that many of the perpetrators of this abuse are themselves young. A number of treatment programs have been established for adolescents who have sexually offended, with a recent publication identifying 14 current programs operating in Australia for young people with sexual behaviour problems/offences.
