In addition to providing advice and assistance to people affected by the drought, DoCS can also provide financial assistance through Drought Household Assistance grants.

am I eligible for financial assistance?

People may be eligible for cash grants of up to $2,000. This includes farm and non-farm households who are financially disadvantaged by the drought.

There is a range of Commonwealth programs available to help farmers combat the effects of drought, including income support, tax relief and risk management tools.
