Introduction to the Guidelines
The Child Wellbeing and Child Protection – NSW Interagency Guidelines (the Guidelines) provide information and guidance to all agencies involved in the delivery of child wellbeing and child protection services in NSW.
The Guidelines are one of the Keep Them Safe mechanisms that support collaborative practice. They apply to government and non-government agencies alike.
The Guidelines are being published in stages. The greyed out titles on the left will be activated as the sections become available.
Each section of the Guidelines is developed collaboratively by the Keep Them Safe Senior Officers Group, which includes representatives of government human services and justice agencies. A wide range of non government organisations also contribute to the development of each section of the Guidelines.
The Guidelines are based on the NSW Interagency Guidelines for Child Protection Intervention 2006.
