SAAP Learning & Development program
The SAAP Learning & Development program assists SAAP agencies to:
- keep pace with changes and developments in DoCS Policy
- strengthen their organisational capacity, particularly around governance and financial management
- develop their skills and knowledge to meet their obligations under service agreements and the Good Practice Guidelines – strengthening their service capacity
It does this through the development and delivery of a range of activities including training.
Through the program, funded services can register for accredited and non-accredited training at regional venues across NSW, free of charge.
The courses aim to meet regional needs identified by DoCS and SAAP funded agencies. SAAP services are prioritised, however where there is spare capacity, these places may be allocated to interested DoCS funded non-SAAP agencies.
