Interagency Guidelines training
The NSW Interagency Guidelines for Child Protection Intervention 2006 are a resource to promote effective collaboration, cooperation and coordinated effort across all responsible service providers under the Children and Young People (Care and Protection) Act 1998. Ultimately, this will improve the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children in NSW.
The Guidelines set out processes for agencies to work together to help children, young people and their families. They include some new practice commitments by DoCS.
A set of the core messages about the Guidelines has been developed. These briefly set out the background to the review of the Guidelines and outline what remains the same and what has changed.
