Course attendance policy & procedures

instructor in class

Our attendance policy is listed below for your information.

Demand for places in our courses is high. If you are unable to attend a course you booked into, please ensure you withdraw yourself from the course via ‘My Registration’ as soon as possible to make the space available for others.

Participants are expected to attend the full day(s) of training as indicated by the workshop start and finish times, unless prior approval has been granted by the NGO training program.

If you have enrolled in a course, you are expected to attend all sessions. Statements of attendance will only be awarded to participants who complete all sessions of a workshop.

Records of attendance are taken for each day of training, including arrival and departure times.

If you have enrolled in a course and do not attend on two or more occasions, without providing adequate notice, you may be removed from future NGO Training Program courses.

Participants are requested to:

  • bring their own writing materials and pens
  • register their attendance on each day of a course
  • complete an evaluation for training they attend
  • advise the facilitator if they must leave the course unexpectedly

Morning and afternoon tea will be provided for full day courses. Participants need to supply their own lunch.

If you have any special dietary requirements for morning or afternoon tea please provide details on the online booking form.
