The Adoption Information Unit (AIU) provides adoption information and support for individuals and their families in relation to:
- Adoptions that occurred in NSW after 1 January 2010
- Adoptions that occurred in NSW before 1 January 2010
- Intercountry adoption - adopted person is currently under 18 years of age
- Intercountry adoption - adopted person is currently over 18 years of age
