Community Services provides free training to the NGOs that it funds, through its two training programs, the NGO training program and the specialist homelessness services learning & development program SHSL&D program.
Staff should identify with their Manager, which program their service is attached to and then follow the appropriate link.

Staff and volunteers from specialist homelessness services can access the SHSL&D program specifically designed for SHS agencies.

Free Community Asset Building Workshop
Ageing Disability and Home Care has engaged Foresters Community Finance (FCF) to conduct a Community Asset Building project. FCF is a Community Development Financial Institution that provides alternative access to finance for eligible community organisations, and provides support for organisations to assess their financial capacity and put in place strategies for property ownership and / or long term secure tenure in property.
Come and join Belinda Drew, Foresters CEO for an educational workshop centred on the value of community asset building and the ways in which non-profit organisations can begin the journey towards asset ownership and creating a more sustainable financial future.
Two workshops will be held on 21 March 2013 at the NSW Teachers Federation Conference Centre, Surry Hills, Sydney. Further workshops in metro and regional NSW will be announced in the coming months.
Who Should Attend CEOs, CFOs, Business Managers, Finance Managers and Program Managers of community organisations funded by Ageing Disability and Home Care or Community Services.
