consultation process
A series of forums have been established to ensure consultation with stakeholders and community partners in the development and implementation of an action plan arising from the report of the Special Commission of Inquiry into Child Protection Services in NSW.
These forums will operate for two years. They are:
Child Protection Advisory group
This group is chaired by the Minister for Community Services to address high level policy and implementation issues.
It will meet monthly, from December 2008 to March 2009, when the whole-of-government action plan is developed. After that it will convene quarterly.
The membership, agenda and minutes of these meetings will be published on this website to better inform other stakeholders and the wider community about what is being addressed in the group.

Service System and Community and Carers Advisory groups
