for young people

As a young person, life can be tough. Parents, school, friends, money and other pressures can sometimes seem too much. This section of the DoCS website offers information and links for young people.

In problems? need help? we provide a portal to websites with specific advice and support for a range of issues, from dealing what to do if you or someone you know is being abused and what DoCS will do about it, to coping with problems at home, to obtaining legal advice, to leaving home, to knowing what to do about drugs, to coping with depression.

If are you in care, we offer support and information for young people who are in, are leaving, or have left foster care or other types of out of home care, including details on your rights during care, and information about after care assistance.
